Shabrina Monèt Cromwell
Loctician, Published Make-up Artist, Master Barber, Beauty Director
For Shabrina Monèt, hair is more than standing behind the chair getting clients in and out, it is about making her clients feel better leaving her chair than they did when arriving, it is her passion, her motivation and drive. Known as a loctican and makeup artist Shabrina has touched the hair industry for 8 years. In 2021, she began her journey as a full time entrepreneur as a traveling and salon-based loc stylist and mua. Ms. Cromwell is a master of the art of loc styling, grooming, maintenance, makeup and natural hair care.
Currently Ms. Cromwell is mastering her crafts in locs and makeup and also expanding into the art of barbering. Her mission is to motivate her clients to embrace the art of the dreadlock and to teach them that patience is the key. Shabrina desires to assist men and women of color to embrace their naturally textured hair while embarking on their new journey.
Shabrina Monèt is currently specializing in beauty wellness hair care services. Her interest is to support her clients throughout their newly found loc journey ensuring each of them that this journey will teach them self-love, patience and positive thinking. While building her clientele Shabrina has come across many men that would ask for services she was unaware how to perform. Shabrina has now obtained her licensing as a Master Barber graduating from Cincinnati School of Barbering and Hair Design
As a traveling stylist, Ms. Glam Monèt herself has had the opportunity to travel to multiple states including Cincinnati, Ohio, Detroit Michigan, Atlanta, Georgia and New York. In travel she was able to provide loc and makeup services for weddings, fashion shows and short films.
Ms. Cromwell has had the honor of presenting the Midwest Regional Black Culture Fest "Sweet and Natural Hair Show" for two consecutive years. In addition to the Midwest Regional Black Culture Fest Shabrina has also presented solo hair shows for private events.
Due to her exposure, Shabrina has built a following on social media platforms @glam_monet and even her website GlamMonet.com. This has allowed her to service a growing business based in Cincinnati, OH, with exposure all over the world including Jamaica, Turkey and South Africa.
Ms. Cromwell is constantly looking to elevate her educational platform. For the future Shabrina is looking forward to providing classes for women and men who want to become licensed locticians.
